After more than 45 years of practice, Robert (Bob) Waller has retired from OWZW Lawyers LLP effective December 31, 2022. Bob was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 1976 and is one of the founding partners of OWZW Lawyers LLP. Bob practised with the Firm’s Credit Union, Labour, Employment, and Business Law Teams, working with many credit unions and private businesses over the years.

OWZW LLP congratulates Bob on his well-deserved retirement and wishes him all the very best.

Shelley Joyce has retired from the partnership of OWZW Lawyers effective December 31, 2021.

Shelley had an extensive legal practice in the area of employment law, advising both employers and employees in relation to dismissal cases, workplace conflict and harassment disputes, employee illness and disability issues and workplace accommodations.  She also represented clients in the area of human rights, from the initial complaint stage under The Saskatchewan Human Rights Code up to the adjudication of complaints by the Saskatchewan Human Rights Tribunal.

The other primary area of Shelley’s practice was in our Debt Recovery & Insolvency Law and Credit Union Law practice areas.  Shelley was a key part of the team assisting our Credit Union clients with drafting and preparation of loan and security documents.

Shelley has been a valued partner and member of OWZW Lawyers for many years, and we wish her the best!

Patricia Quaroni, Q.C. has retired from the partnership of OWZW Lawyers effective December 31, 2020.

Pat was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1988 and joined the OWZW partnership in 1993. Throughout her accomplished career Pat practiced with the firm’s Credit Union, Employment, Real Estate and Debt Recovery & Insolvency Law teams. Her practice primarily focussed on credit unions and SaskCentral, which work included drafting periodic Lending Information Bulletins for distribution throughout the Saskatchewan credit union system and authoring both the Credit Union Lending Security Guide and the Credit Union Account Opening and Deposit Documentation Manual.

Pat has been a valued partner and member of OWZW Lawyers for many years, and we wish her the best!

Wilson was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1972 and is one of the founders of Olive Waller Zinkhan & Waller LLP, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2017.

Wilson practised with the Firm’s business group and specialized in complex commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings.

After more than 40 years of practice, Fred Zinkhan has retired effective January 31, 2017.
Fred was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1974 and is one of the founders of Olive Waller Zinkhan & Waller LLP, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2017.

Fred practiced with the Firm’s litigation group and specialized in complex civil trial work for both plaintiffs and defendants.  His practice included commercial litigation, civil jury trials, alternative dispute resolution, civil injunctions, litigation strategic planning, class action defence work, and complex family law litigation.
